The Ethiopian Ambassador to Djibouti, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye underlined the need for coordinated and fast condemnation from the international community during a meeting with Mrs. Mary Njoroge, the Country Director of the World Food Program in Djibouti, to put a stop to the atrocious acts that the TPLF continues to commit.
The Ambassador further stated that the people of Tigray are being exploited as a bargaining tool by the savage warlord.
He reaffirmed Ethiopia’s government’s continuous commitment to collaborating with the World Food Program (WFP) to expedite the seamless conveyance of humanitarian aid to the region.
Mrs. Mary Njoroge, for her part, commended the Ethiopian government for its continuous commitment to collaborating with the WFP in the efficient transfer of much-needed humanitarian aid.
The two sides also discussed current humanitarian assistance prospects and challenges, pledging to collaborate and expedite operations passing via the ports of Djibouti in close partnership with the relevant authorities.
